24ORB PRIVACY
Private by design.
24ORB is built around a simple rule: personal information should not become public merely because it exists on the service. This policy explains what 24ORB handles, why it is needed, and the choices you control.
Effective: September 24, 2026
1. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, 24ORB may receive account information such as your name, email address, handle, profile details and authentication information; content you create or upload; Calendar events and invitations; Pulse posts and replies; Notes, Reminders, Projects and custom-orb content; media such as photos, video and audio; support messages; and information you choose to share with connected people or organizations.
2. Information created by use of the service
24ORB may create limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as sign-in/session records, security and abuse logs, device or notification identifiers, access-control records, synchronization state, timestamps, audit records and basic server logs. We do not collect extra personal data merely because it might be useful someday.
3. Cookies and local storage
24ORB does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies or local storage may be used for secure sign-in, session continuity, fraud and abuse protection, account security, accessibility or interface preferences, and other core functions that cannot work reliably without local state.
4. How we use information
- Provide the features you request and keep your account working.
- Apply your audience, sharing and collaboration permissions.
- Deliver reminders, notifications and support responses.
- Protect accounts, investigate abuse and maintain service integrity.
- Maintain search and synchronization for content you choose to keep.
- Improve reliability, accessibility and product functionality.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. Sharing with other people
You control many sharing choices in 24ORB. A private Calendar is not visible merely because someone has a 24ORB account; the owner must invite that person. Private media, Notes and other protected content follow their applicable access rules. Pulse posts may be private, shared with selected people or friends, or intentionally public depending on the audience you choose.
6. Public profiles, posts and APIs
Information you deliberately make public may be visible to people who are not signed in and may be available through 24ORB’s public API. The public API is designed to return only content that is explicitly public. Private account data, private Calendars, private media, private Notes, private Reminders, private Projects, private messages and other protected information require authentication and appropriate permission.
7. Integrations and external services
When you choose an integration, 24ORB may exchange the minimum information needed for that feature. For example, Jam45 music cards use a Jam45 release identity and track information so an eligible preview can be resolved when you press Play. YouTube and Vimeo players are loaded when you choose to play supported embedded video. External services are also governed by their own privacy terms.
8. Service providers
24ORB may use hosting, email delivery, security, storage or infrastructure providers to operate the service. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their role and are not authorized by 24ORB to use account information for unrelated advertising.
9. Law enforcement and legal requests
24ORB does not keep additional personal records simply in case law enforcement or a government agency might request them later. We may preserve or disclose information when required by valid legal process, a binding legal obligation, a lawful preservation request, or an emergency circumstance recognized by applicable law. We may evaluate requests for legal validity, jurisdiction and scope, seek clarification or narrowing when appropriate, and notify affected users when legally permitted.
10. Retention and deletion
Content you keep may remain available so long-term search, Timeline and history features continue to work. When content is deleted, it is removed from ordinary active use and search. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups, security records, fraud/abuse records or a lawful preservation hold. Backup copies are not intended to become a hidden second account archive.
11. Security
24ORB uses layered controls such as authenticated access, permission checks, protected private-media delivery, secure transport, limited API scopes, audit/security records and revocable access mechanisms where available. No service can promise that a breach will never happen. If we discover a security incident that requires notice under applicable law, we will respond accordingly.
12. Your choices and requests
You may change profile and sharing settings, remove content where supported, revoke shared access and ask questions about your information. Depending on applicable law and your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a copy of certain personal information.
Send a privacy request →13. Children and age-related protections
24ORB should be used only by people who are legally permitted to use the service under applicable law or with any consent that law requires. If you believe personal information from a child has been provided unlawfully, contact us so the issue can be reviewed. Future child or teen account features may be subject to additional protections and parental controls.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes or legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, by providing additional notice through the service.
